    Thanks for the reply...I think I'll try that. I read somewhere that spraying vinegar on the spot they are pecking may stop them for awhile (because of the bad taste?) Has anyone had luck with that? (I was thinking of trying it until I can get the no-peck spray)

    Are you sure your hens aren't squatting because they are about to start laying? If they are jsut scared, they should skitter away. Squatting is them confusing you with a Rooster trying to mate with them...

    I believe eggs from chickens with worms are perfectly safe to eat. The reason you toss the eggs once you start the treatment is that you don't want to eat the medicine/poison in the eggs. --Julie
