Your chicks do not seem to have the darker marking on the back and so-called brown markings as shown on ItsAZOO32 pic of one her chicks, which is definitely a dark brahma chick
Please list any shows, swaps or sale that you know of that happen in the Show-Me state throughout the year.

I would concur that you probably have a pullet. I havent seen any males mounting males in my years of raising poultry. But of course a pic would most definitely verify your situation.
What was your source of the SL Wyandottes you have pictured? Late in getting in the conversation, but any thoughts on selling some hatching eggs? I live just North of Kansas City, MO.
Your SL have some good size.
There are several members of the American Brahma club that are members of BYC. Not sure whether they raise LF or bantams. I havent been associated with that club for over 10 years. Those that raise Lf Darks are few and far in between. And those who raise them are spread in the southeast more...
I have used a lot of the portable pet carriers that my wife and I pick up at various garage sales over the years. I sanitize them and mark the cages with my name, add lots of pine shavings insert 1or 2 birds, depending whether or not it is a bantam or not and then off to the show. I use larger...
I think that your golden laced cochin is going to be a cockeral as based on your one pic that show more pointed back saddle feathers which are indicative of a male as well as the lack of lacing in the breast area.
Your pic definitely is a young cockeral. Darks are very slow in feathering out and maturing. It will take a while for him to shed his chick feathers for his silver pencilled plumage
I may have missed someone posting info on the above source for chicks and hatching eggs. I thought that Danny Padgett was the manager. Anyway are they still operating and do they have a web site and or some email or phone numbers to contact.
Thanks BYC ers for your help.
I, too have tried to contact him several times. I guess he is busy with his birds and family life. His web site is up and running. I have added it to this message.
