Trying to locate an older white male white Silkie in Ohio. My little girl was planning on showing her white silkies this year at fair but thanks to a hawk, she lost her roo. Time is short as our cut off date is coming up within the next week. Does anyone in Ohio have a year old or two year...
We are so goose nieve. I didn't know Toulouse goose would/could be adopted a wild goose flock, let alone fly away with them. He kept right up with them just lower to the ground. My Daughter was so excited as she has always wanted a pet goose and to have a domesticated one just show it and...
This Beauty just arrived with a flock of Canda geese. Sorry for the crappy pictures...my daughter took them...but is this a Toulouse Goose? He flew in with the flock, made a huge splash landing in the pond (not anywhere as graceful as his flight mates). immediately got out of the pond and...
darn, darn, DARN! I've been looking and looking...watching and watching. So far nothing but eggs. We don't have an incubator or I would purchase some of the pretty buff eggs and hatch them for Christmas morning. Wouldn't that be fun for Parker...asking for one lil buff hen and getting a...

Oh thank you...thank you...thank you!! Trust me, we are known for driving for my daughter's habit. Where is Ohio? 2 hours takes me just about anywhere in Ohio...Columbus, Cleveland, Cincy. If you have a black roo to spare, I've got a lil girl that would love some mom/me time on a...
Recently, Ft knox was broken into and my daughter lost her Black Silkie roo that she had been conditioning as her 4-H project to the neighbor's late dog. Now she is on a scramble to secure a black roo for her black bearded silkie hen before the 4-H cut off date.
Our daughter is 10 years old...
HI!
Just wanted to let everyone know that your chicks are healthy, extremely well cared for, and beautiful birds. It was well worth the 10 hour round trip drive to pick some of your lil ones up. Thanks again for a fun day! We love chick shopping.
HAHA I wonder how work is going to feel if I call in tomorrow "Sorry, I won't be at work today. I'm expecting and hopefully she will hatch today." Well...it's so wild, I'm sure HR won't know how to answer that one!! lol
Yep...constantly wetting down the membrane. A wet paper towel around...
Still peeping but nothing else. He's nice and toasty. Even 15 minutes, I'm moisting the membrane. No bleeding so far.
Now I know how my hubby felt in the waiting room for our 5 children....lol
Should I be doing anything? Other than pacing?
