It is though I believe it will be worth it knowing the class will be learning to care for poultry.
The class didn't have chickens last year since they didn't have anyone to hatch and raise them over winter, so they would start laying in fall
Y'all I can't name mine there a hatch project for our local boces animal program and I can't get attached even though I'm raising them for 5 months
The males are for meat the girls will be used for eggs so the class can learn about caring for laying hens

Yeah I was using our Styrofoam incubator but then the temp kept fluctuating, come to learn after we got the new one it was likely just the thermometer. But either way I got the maticoopx and switched them to it decided it's more reliable and we will keep the styrofoam one as a backup.

My 3 year old cream legbar starting regurgitating and with some research I suspect sour crop.
She has been separated and has no access to food or water. It is hot though so I'm going worried about dehydrating her. (88°f)
