My silkie eggs are all teeny tiny so I really hope there won't be a ton of problems with them on hatch/lockdown.

How many did you set initially?I think my egg 9 is infertile and both of the orpington eggs (I'm not sure but I think) aren't fertile/developing either. So there's only 2 that I'm completely sure are (or got) eliminated, 9 and 19.
I'm having the same concern with my bantam eggs. They are very likely to hatch a day or two earlier than the standards. I did set them a day later, though, so they could all hatch together. Guess I'll have a better idea when I candle again at lockdown. My silkie eggs are all teeny tiny so I really hope there won't be a ton of problems with them on hatch/lockdown.
It'll be fine. I have chicks a few weeks older and have a couple eggs set a week later. The 1 egg and the 2 later are from my own chickens and not shipped eggs.I too am rooting for the singular baby but worry about it being a singular baby. Chickens are such social animals I worry that it will be lonely. I also worry about it integrating into the flock when it's old enough. I fear the orphan will have a hard life for a while.
