Oliver egger chick, shipped as 'day old chick' on June 24, so she's 3.5 - 4 weeks old. She comes from My Pet Chicken (MPC), which says they "crossed Legbars by Marans for one variety, and Ameraucanas by Marans for another variety" of Olive Eggers. Judging by this chick's slate legs, pea-ish...
...eyes closed or half closed, a little tail pumping, wouldn't eat or drink ..... and then a few hours later, just normal. Totally normal all day today too. *shrug* Hopefully for your gal, it's something similar, maybe with their egg production or crop, that just worked itself out on its own. ?

So about 6 weeks ago, I had two broody hens - and they adopted 6 little 2-day old chicks that they were basically "fostering" for a friend of mine.
Now, the chicks are 6 weeks old, and arguably totally ready to transport over to their permanent home.
