I don't have anything against you, 3riverschick by the way. I just have a cross beak and when I got her they told me the same thing. but she is 3 years old now and lives a very happy life.
I don't have any chick grit, but I do have some oyster shells for my hens. do you think I could grind up oyster shells for the chicks? I would love to give them treats but don't have chick grit...I could also let them eat some tiny rocks from my yard when I bring them outside.

thanks so much, I will let her smell them for sure. we were also thinking maybe putting a chick down on the floor, (right with us) and let the pup smell them and scold her if she gets to close\tries to nip them. I don't think she will freak out to much, because we have trained her with the other...
I'm getting 3 new chicks tomorrow, and I have had many chicks but I never had chicks with a puppy. and I have a safe spot for the chicks were my puppy can't get to them, but I think my pup might bark at them because of the noise. any ideas?
