Until recently it was forbidden to add animal protein in any chicken feed in my country. I think the governmental department (food) ordered it after the mad cow disease. The proteins come from seeds, corn, soy and peas. Today some feed contain fish or insects.
The organic feed I buy still has...
I have 1 hen with about the same mahogany colouring. She is the one who always comes to the back door to check if it is feeding time or time for an extra treat. The laziest forager of the Glock. :gig

Im kind a flabbergasted with these price tags. I really don’t like this whole chick on transport business. Expensive and probably traumatising for the chicks. It’s not allowed where I live. Unless the buyer or seller drives or accompanies the ride.
Usually I buy hatchery eggs for €1.00 to...
Where do you get this information from about Europeans? Its probably true we have more heritage breeds that fit the standards. And these breeds certainly haven’t been mixed with production hybrids for those who want to participate in contests. Many hobbyists who breed with chickens only have 1...

My husbands eyesight was getting worse the past 1-2 years. The optometrist gave him new, starker lenses to compensate. But after some time it got worse again. He didn’t trust the advice to buy stronger lenses again...
Where did you go?
Are you back again?
Whats is it you want to talk about?

The clinics changed the moment to operate cataract. They don’t wait till your lens gets hard anymore. So if your eyesight is getting blurry you don’t have to wait any longer.
