Ok sorry it took me so long. I'll be incubating eggs off the ccl hens and the rhode bar roo so I'll know in about 22 days or so I am not setting today waiting for a few more eggs. I did want y'all to take a look at this roo. It is not a good pic and I will get better in the daylight or may go...
So I have a rhode bar roo over 4 crested cream legbars would this continue at least for first generation as sex link. If I could find a proper roo here in NC I'd move the rhode bar out.
Really oh well wish I won't so attached to the ol man. He was not from a "hatchery" he was from hatching eggs from a farm in Eastern NC. He was supposed to be pure oh well back to the drawing board
I would not know where to start with shows. Don't know that I am interested in shows but I do want SOP birds so if others do want to show they can get birds from me. Maybe my kids will want to show wife says I have enough hobbies already
What about this fellow. He is supposed to be pure. He has blue legs and white feet. I am also looking at breeding these here in NC. Only problem here is most folks think Easter egger or they sale "Americauna" instead of saying Easter egger and some of them look close to breed standard
Yes you will get an olive egger crossing blue egg over dark brown. I have a pure Ameracuna roo not Easter egger over some marans and produce olive eggers
Don't think so but I could be wrong. I have young dogs here because I also breed dogs and they are not sick and I go from my birds to my dogs never reverse
Most of them lived past the 2-3 day mark where dehydration takes them out little buggers would be running around the box without a care in the world then a couple hours later dead
Ozexpat I was told to seek your advice. I am attempting to raise quail but am failing my little ones just up and die no signs of distress will literally look great and in hours dead. They are Georgia Giants. I am down to 2 and have 101 in the bator
