I think this poll is bias...
but seriously, anybody have chicken costume designs? They have chicken saddles, so could you use that idea and add to it to make a costume? hm... I want to do it as a sewing probably but I'm not an expert on chicken clothes...
I have two chickens; one red star and one black one (I don't remember the breed at the moment.. my boyfriend brought it from his flock while I was on vacation to replace my EE that had been eaten by a hawk)
The red star has lost most of the top of her tail feathers in the last three days and...
I am not sure if there are weasels around her, I tried to search google and only came up with this http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2015263780_apwadeadweaselassault.html (what the heck happens in Seattle?)

I went out today and one of my blue swedish girls (the small one) was dead in the run, all her organs were left it looked like her neck had been snapped and the skin off her neck and chest had been eaten off.
The second was my fatty, I think he was actually a boy and there was no way he could...

lol my big one has always been pushy ever since he was a little peep. I'll find out eventually, I had been thinking about giving them a boyfriend since somebody nearby had a pet drake they couldn't care for anymore but she just stopped talking to me... So once I realized I might have a boy then...
I went back out to try and figure out who was quacking and the little one quacks, the big one makes kind of a quack... more like a quite quack stuck in her throat sound. And the big one only does it in response to the little one.
I have two swedish blues, both make quacking/honking/peeping/rasping ish noises, one a lot more than the other.
They are both supposedly girls but one is about twice the size of the other and I was wondering if maybe I ended up with a drake?
They are about two months old so idt they would have...
Hey everyone, I have two chickens, two ducks and a peacock and I am going to have to worm the peacock soon and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on worming them all?
I can separate them and worm individually if need be but it will result in some irritated birds (especially Polly, she...
