I have the Tylan/Amoxicillin powder and Liquid Corid. I believe one of my boys had coccidiosis with respiratory as the other boy has responded well to Tylan, while this boy has ruffled feathers, reduced feeding and lethargy with ruffled feathers.
I’ve seen writing that you can treat a syringe...
I just finished 5 days of Corid treatment @ 2 tsp per gal of water. I am now going into a week of rest (alternating daily plain water/poultry cell water).
@azygous said in a different post, "The protocol is five days on Corid, one week rest and then five more days on Corid."
My question is...
Peachicks are hatching now under a brooding Peahen (Mom) (our first). I found the below dosing- is it the same for chicks? Do I just dose the water and put it out for all to drink? Also, should I be dosing them from day one after they come out or wait for them to be days/weeks old?
For 3-5...
If I wanted to give Corid orally, rather than in the water, does anyone know what the dose would be or have a link to that information. My Lucy weighs 5.1lbs (2.3kg).
Treating my six, one month old chicks for coccidia with corid. I saw one bloody stool yesterday morning (it didn't look like intestinal shedding) it was a little pool of blood around a regular stool. I'm dosing thier water with corid to be on the safe side. My question is if I mix a gallon of...

Just is case, going to purchase some Corid before my chicks arrive in April. Therefore prepared but hopefully not needed and good to have on hand. Seen it in powder or liquid form which is better? Is it better to premix or mix it when needed? I think the mixing dose is 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of...

Hello. My 5-6 month old hens just finished a round of corid for coccidiosis. I would like to give nutri drench in their water to help replace vitamins now that they’re done. How much do I give per gallon of water?
From looking at the label on the med feed I realized it doesn't have the amprolium in it that the Corid has. The med feed has 'bacitracin methylene disalicylate'. Should I continue to use the Corid at the preventive dose along with the med feed?
At the moment they appear to be females.
Their hunched up stance hints to coccidiosis, so I would treat them with Corid/Amprolium before it gets out of hand.

If you suspect coccidiosis then I would start treatment ASAP. Treating with corid won't hurt them even if it's something else, but coccidiosis can kill. Get them on Corid medicated water ASAP, and any that are acting sick or lethargic give an oral dose to as well as the medicated water...
IF you are going to treat Coccidiosis, you want to use the severe dosing.

Sorry, not sure if this had been discussed. Looking for someone that has used this product with success and have mixing information. I want to make small batches so I can monitor how much water they are drinking. Thank you
I would treat them immediately, here is the dosage
