One of my girls is gone!
Been a while since I lost her and no more losses. Got my Dolly girl (our border collie) use to the chickens and I don't let them out anymore until at least after 10 a.m. and bring them in well before sundown; in addition they are not let out without my Dolly girl outside with them in the fenced...- Rommy

Bantam chick leg problem.
Hi Isaac, The baby didn't make it. He/she was a little fighter though. Made me and hubby both want a bantam. I have two guinea I have just gotten old enough to go in the coop/run hubby built for them. Will attempt to mix them with my hens when I trust they have acclimated to their pen...- Rommy

Desperate New Duck Mom!!! HELP!
Just an update. this little one did not make it either.... don't know what happened. He/she developed pasty butt as well as having issues with the little leg. Was pretty spunky and just started going down hill and don't know what went wrong.... One thing for certain though, I am not going... -

Thank you Miss Lydia, got a splint on but this chicky baby pulled it off... I'm such a novice... may call my vet in the a.m. I have work again tomorrow ... so little worried about leaving it by itself... but will work it out.... Hope going the night with this leg and my not knowing how to... -

Got the Vitamin B and some electrolytes and vitamins. He/she is a little fighter...I have to hold it up to the water dish; but it will drink water very well when I do. I let it get the liquid B off the dropper and it did well. He/she will drink and attempt to eat as long as I hold him/her... -
