If you have a whole container of palm oil & are only using part of it at a time-does the integrity of the oil lessen the more often you heat it as you are using out of the same container at different times?
I hear ya ozark hen---I did that too with my first gallon of fresh milk!! I made some butter and then when I tried to make some whipping cream for a pie, I whipped that cream too long and got butter then too. But that was ok by me! I now have about a quart of cream that I need to use & want...
I made more ground meat jerky this past week-end & it turned out great. I just mixed about one & one-half lb. of ground meat (no fat added) & a package of taco mix seasoning, about 1/2 cup salsa, some black pepper & some hot chili powder. I let it set about 1 hour then put it through my jerky...
Does anyone know where I can sell my peacock feathers? I have collected them for several years & need to get rid of them. They are stuck everywhere in the basement!!

Thanks Cyndi-I'm not sure but I think from reading on the description that they are oxides. It says to mix the powder with a small amount of oil then add to the remainder of oils. I got them from elementsbathand body. I am nervous about using them as I hate to mess up a batch of soap!!!
I am just starting to play with adding colors to my soap. I have ordered powder colorants from Elements B&B. Haven't received it yet but would like to get any tips or pointers on using the powder for coloring my soaps. Anyone got some advise for me???
Thank you! I do have a question though--I don't quite understand this-
