So far we have ended up with 14 Pearl Greys & 1 Lavender for 15 keets hatched out of 20 eggs.
Not bad at a 75% hatch rate.
I'll leave the incubator on while I am in the hospital for any late hatchers.
Here are the babies..
Here they are running around..
A closer shot..
Here...
The little brat came home. I went outside to let the dogs out & she was on a branch in the tree by the front door. She saw me & called. She flew down & let me pick her up with one hand. She nuzzled against my chest cooing all the way back to the coop.
When I tried to put her down she jumped on...
Thanks indigo3 for the kind words...
We lost one Lavender keet this morning.
The wife said all were there when she feed this morning.. I went out to check on them & one of the Pearl Grey's was trying to get back in.. I finally caught her & returned her to the coop. She had no sign of any...
Thanks for all of the kind words..
I have 12 inch steel tent stakes every 6 inches to hold this thing down.. If someone wants to dig under they will have to work at it.. We have been lucky around here.. The only predator that has killed our poultry has been a hawk.. I hope they don't dig...
I finally finished my Guinea Coop Saturday.. Just in time also.. We have new keets hatching today (Monday) so I need the room. Plus I hear chirping under my broody Guinea hens so I need the room in my Brooder...
I know it's a little early to put my 4 1/2 old keets outside but our temps have...
Here is a pic of the babies in the incubator.. It is hard to get a clear picture with the high humidity..
They are just chilling...

P.S. I just finished my Guinea Coop & I will post about it later with pictures..
Well we locked down the incubator a day early.. I heard chirping so I locked it down last night.
Today we have one egg that has pipped & has zipped halfway around. We have another that has pipped. Looks like another good hatch coming.
I'll post pics later as they hatch..

@156sammi - You're welcome..
Thanks Peeps.. The ACV in the water did wonders. Thanks for that tip.. I love the Lavenders also.. We are going into lock down again this weekend.. maybe we will get more lavenders..
The babies are now 3 weeks old. I'm going to build them a 10'x30' run for them tomorrow. Going to enclose about 10 feet of it for a coop for them.. Got about 3 weeks to get it done.. I'll post pics of that project as it progresses..
Here are the new pics of the keets..
I don't know what...
