    it is tough to tell without seeing the feathers on the back and neck real well. But i would say that at 4 months with comb and waddle development that is that pronounced, it is probably a rooster.

    Thanks, It has hatched thousands of eggs. At one time i was putting about a 100 chicken eggs and 90 quail eggs in it every 3 weeks for almost a solid year. It has been pretty fun.
