    I know this an old thread but i had 1 chick hatch like this recently. Hatched with a light silvery sheen but now at a month is feathering in pure white. Roo and hen were both light silver partridge (gray) color. Would this mean it is double silver gene white?

    Good hatches last year were mostly local source (1batch was shipped) but since then... death. Btw all hatchers and incubators do get sterilized as well.. done exactly the same as last years good hatch rates except ate not dried in the sun as we haven't had any all winter lol
