New to peafowl
Do they lay eggs regularly or just during mating season otherwise I'd get just one or two for alarm birds -
I think my quail has bumblefoot.
I don't know about quail but in birds of prey straw and hay in an enclosure could cause aspergillosis so I don't know if I'd use that for bedding -

I've lost a falcon to stargazing not sure why he started doing it but it did him in. I've never heard of poultry stargazing though.- ducksssss

NEVER feed ducks any bread not good for them that could have killed the ducklings -

Hm bring her to a vet is all I could tell you many diseases cause ducks to become lethargic the swollen breast I'm not sure could b an impacted crop bring her to a vet and c if you can get an x-ray of the area -

That is a federal crime and me being a falconer I would call the dnr and police so whoever shot a hawk or owl ends up in federal prison shotgun (edit) if you cant fire a gun where you live , get a bb gun a good one and de-hawk your neighborhood , thats what id do just dont shoot the owl... -

I know hookbills are rare to own but I was wondering if someone somewhere on BYC has any experience with them. Because my aunt said she can give me a drake and a hen hookbills mating pair(she has a LOT of ducks and I mean a LOT) -
