Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.

I know hookbills are rare to own but I was wondering if someone somewhere on BYC has any experience with them. Because my aunt said she can give me a drake and a hen hookbills mating pair(she has a LOT of ducks and I mean a LOT)
