    The regs in ctiy of mesa proper are 10 chickens total, one of which can be a rooster, as long as no one complains about the noise. HOA are bad, county islands if you can find one would be good. eta: I have not heard of any rules about house chickens or colored chickens. Good luck, outlying areas...
