    I know all 3 of these are roosters, I got them the other day. 2 of them look exactly alike. What breeds might I have here? All have single combs, but the black ones have slate colored legs.

    crooked toe

    Ok so I got three roo's today. They are about 20 weeks old. One of them has a crooked toe, which does not effect his walking or anything like that, it just kind of bothers me. Would a splint on it straighten it out, or is it to late for that?

    Take any info from speckledhen to be correct, I always wait for her input on anything. They def look like boys to me Quote: I agree. Have you seen my 4 year old hen, Lexie? She's lighter than her sons. It happens, but I do think a dark cockerel is far more likely than a light pullet.

    Well since your dog would die for you and your children. I will pick my dogs over my chickens any day. If you have a dog and love your chickens more, something is wrong. Honestly, thats why they call it mans best friend. Don't jump me my fellow chicken lovers. LOL

    only def roo i see is the single comb GLW, the PR do look quite stocky but it could still go both ways
