YES. ive had this problem before. i think u may just have to wait to see what happpens. If you still get eggs like this in a weeks time then there maybe a problem with the calcium or their diet in general. !
Hope this helps

HI
Ive done a few threads on thos before but i never really understood and the different genes ( recessive,Fatal etc...) and i was wondering if you guys could explain to me how to make different colours by cross breeding different colours
for example... If you have a japanese quail how do you...
Get some millet seed. Plant it and wait for it to grow. When it gets to about 5 inches and feed it to them. Mine go crazy for it. And its a good treat!! an alternative to lettuce.
Things like budgie and canary mix can be mixed in with their food.
and hard boiled eggs are good for a weekly treat...
Maybe remove some of the males. I would suggest you have one male to four females . ! hope this helps. Also make sure you look very carefully for the eggs. My youngsters lay in the strangest of places !!
HI what should be the male to female ratio with your standard Japanese quail. Ive heard that people have 1 male and 6 females but I would of thought you should have more like four females ??. I dunno ??

Do excuse the random nature of this question, however I know that green tea is good for us humans! But would it be of any benefit to chickens or quails?
Thanks
