as far as getting them its easy they send paperwork you have to complete and send to us fish and wildlife service. Mine were pinioned and I dont plan on selling them. There are diff permits if you plan on selling them
The post office did this to me on Canada Goslings ordered earlier this year all arrived dead but 1 I paid for express and got it in 3 days. I again ordered some juvenile canadas because the original place did not have them available to replace. This time I spent 90 bucks for express which is...
Im completely stumped as well... it cant be a dog because whatever the.culprit was is killing rhe bird then.dragging it up a 10 foot fence and eating it ontop of a covered pen... I have no idea I did get a video but couldnt make out the critter. And then it never returned.
May i ask where you purchased them? I bought two juveniles from Murray McMurray and they were older than expected as well and the female (smaller) has the bare spot on her head. I wasnt worried at first but now seeing your post I'm wondering.
I never did figure out what it was that was getting the birds but since I have been locking all of them up securely I have not had the problem knock on wood. However I discovered that RATS are what was emptying my traps of bait without tripping it or if they did trip it they were able to get...

Game camera set. The was a silly silver spangled Hamburg roosting up there but I made her get in the coop. We shall see if the predator returns tonight.
