    Well none else is dead but I threw away a couple dozen eggs cause I didn't know which ones might have come from the sick duck. I still suspect snake bite but better to be safe and dispose of them.

    I have a very sick duck. I can't find any injuries on her and she appeared fine yesterday. Maybe a snake bite? Anyway I think I need to throw the eggs away.my avian vet only works weekdays and you know how ducks are, once they show symptoms they are usually at deaths door.

    Ah I'm very sad Spokes duck was eaten today. It had been months since I lost a duck and the predators all seem to know my favorites. Spokes was 6 but still laying4 times a week. She was queen of the flock so there will be some surviving now.

    Chewy has Mazuri layer, you just have to look for it. I just use free oyster shell so they can choose how much they want.

    Fifty #s for $50 and 40#s for 40 is about the same price roughly 1$ a # :) I do love the feed. My local feed store carries it but I sometimes order from Chewy just about 1$ or so different

    Could have been a hawk. They roll.the over and eat the tasty bits inside but ducks are too heavy to fly away with. I've never had a daytime trash panda but they do that too.

    Yes I know it was a bobcat cause one of my lemon hens had a big scratch mark across her chest. Glad she didnT get the hen cause she's a daily layer. Just goes to show I can't take a break at all and tomorrow ill be armed.

    My rapist KC got eaten today. I had let them out and was watching them but needed a poo break. While I was inside something came and ate the drake. I was trying to find him a new home cause I had naked neck hens. I guess he found a new home in a bobcat tummy.
