Down to twogosling’s I sold the two big boys and kept the little girl and little boy named them Evangeline and Earl.
The first three ducklings I hatched in my incubator are almost 4 weeks old and there are seven more eggs set to hatch in a week
Will be moving things around for sure

Are your ducklings male or female? My biggest one Peeps turned out to be a girl and I am hoping Jellybean is too. Still not sure. It whistles a lot but so did Peeps! I was shocked when she started quacking.

Oh, I don’t know yet. They haven’t started, but they are making funny little whistling sound sometimes too. And sometimes I start worrying that maybe they’re all boys lol we will see soon.

It definitely is! - I had Runner-Ducks sitting on eggs which are definitely not supposed to go broody.

Hopefully we both have all girls. We can at least hope for them if nothing else.

Both of mine are quacking so it was a good lucky day for me. I will put them outside on Tuesday as it will be warm here then and they will both be feathered out. They are quite quiet in the house as they seem to love it in here but I do not want house ducks. I bought a new 8 X 8 pen for them and it is waiting for them outside.

My rapist KC got eaten today. I had let them out and was watching them but needed a poo break. While I was inside something came and ate the drake. I was trying to find him a new home cause I had naked neck hens. I guess he found a new home in a bobcat tummy.

So sorry that he had to go that way but I guess it was better than your best Hen getting eaten since you were going to get rid of him anyhow. I am glad that is the only one that the Bobcat got at least.

Yes I know it was a bobcat cause one of my lemon hens had a big scratch mark across her chest. Glad she didnT get the hen cause she's a daily layer. Just goes to show I can't take a break at all and tomorrow ill be armed.
