I shouldn't think it should affect humans in any way. It is a disease made for rabbits and only rabbits. I heard somewhere that if you are persuaded you are sick then you will feel sick. Hope you're not sick
You probably shouldn't be worried. A mother hen is VERY protective and she wouldn't let the chick run off and if the chick is cold, she will sit on it. But just to be sure, take the hen and chick inside or make a warm place in the coop for them.
