    feathers never grew back

    Ok so last winter one of my boys got rough with 2 of the gals and their feather never grew back. Its the group of feathers right before the tail starts. ex: the RIR have a "hump" its that, that doesn't have feathers. What can be done about it!!!

    AAAHHHH this is hard!!!!! Why I asked i guess because I can see the membrane and it is pulling away from the shell and it moves along with the chicks breathing. Still leave it alone?!?!?

    That is a great idea!!! Brenda: I had 2 broodies last fall and it took them the 3 wks before they started laying again, but it would be interesting to see what she does the next week or so!!

    Well thanks you all Since I live in MO and we insulated alittle bit(we have a huge coop compaired to his), our girls still got frostbit and just thought you would have too for NY. O well to each his own!!
