    Broody was sitting on 5 eggs. There are now 4 and a tiny amount of fowl smelling goo. I can't see any left over shell. Do broody hens know if eggs are bad and eat them to get rid of them? Otherwise I have no idea where the 5th egg went. She was fully enclosed all day.

    Posting pictures of 2 silkie eggs. Day 9 under a broody. One of the eggs has a terrible shell and has micro cracks through it. The other last 2 pictures i suspect there is a death ring. Let me know your thoughts.

    Hi all, This is a 5 week old Australian Araucana (Our breeding standards are different). I know it’s early- but what do you think? Boy is my guess because its comb looks pink & has 3 rows of peas already. It’s also quite pink under the chin. I’m new with this breed so I welcome your expertise

    Here she is at 24 weeks! She’s a very BIG girl.. & towers over the Plymouth, barnie & Ancona. Check out her feet 👀 should hopefully start laying soon 🥚
