    What kind of ducklings are these?

    I picked these two up at TSC. I saw them and just couldn't resist but I have no clue as to what they are. The first one is yellow with grey spots on its beak, feet and head, with an all grey back. The second is moslty black with a little yellow on the belly and a black beak and feet.

    New chick mom :)

    You have to be careful with a dog crate cuz if it is a metal crate the small chicks can fit through the bars. We just wrapped some cardboard around the crate until they were too big to squeeze through the bars.

    I haven't noticed a problem with mine. My chickens even go over and get a drink out of it occasionally.

    When it gets dark I lock mine in their coop, which sounds like the same thing you are doing. I don't even have to chase mine into the coop anymore they go in there o. Their Own and settle down and all I have to do is close the doors.
