hatching frizzle banty cochins like crazy, im getting about 50 percent frizzles from my girls, dad is a banty cochin double frizzle, dreads more like..lol
WOW, don't mean to brag but one of our frizzles turned out to be a barred banty cochin frizzle !! Ive never seen 1 and now we have one and probably more on the way !!!
the serama eggs I bought from craigs list are now hatching !! Looks like he was correct and I got what I wanted....these seramas are so so small and cute ! thanks everyone
forgot to mention we are currently hatching bantam cochins of all colors and 100% pure frizzles of all colors !
Dad is a red double frizzle and the moms are banty cochins an silkies of all colors.
will have sizzles available as soon as they hatch...love spring !!
welcome back to NM ! I found really great non gmo all organic feed for poultry on amazon prime..its not a super big bag but its great stuff! Thripple threat feed and franks feed will be in your area, also tractor supply might carry some good stuff also..
sounds like a dud...when I bought mine I ran it for a little over a week before adding eggs just incase of this issue..Ive gone through 3 incubators till I got this one and all of them had heating issues like this..
is the temp in you house stable? do you have another temp probe to see actual temps? If so yours might be defective..is the fan working and not blocked? it shouldn't drop like that without power outage or something similar...sorry to hear...
well since you don't get a winter..lol....jus about any chickens will do except cochins or other very feathery breeds. Rhode islands, barred rocks, and all the great layers should be fine...make sure they have plenty of shade and access to water and food in the shade. Im in NM so I know what...
