Some of my hens have gotten a little bit cannibalistic. It isn't very bad, but whenever one of them starts bleeding for any reason, some of the chickens pick at it and I've had a few die from this. Does anybody know a way to prevent this or curb cannibalistic behavior?
I would probably have a heat source for at least the first little while because it is a change and you don't want them to get stressed with the move and the cold. Also, this is probably obvious, but slowly reduce the added heat before completely taking it away.

If an egg is frozen through, it will have a crack in it because when water freezes, it expands. I don't know of any good uses for frozen eggs and I usually just throw them out because they are cracked
I often put ears of corn in my coop during the winter because it gives them something to peck at and the corn is high energy so they get more fat to help keep them warm.
My birds don't have a heater and they do fine but like the person before said, make sure that the wind doesn't get through their coop. Also, maybe put their food and water inside the coop if there is room so they don't have to go outside if they don't want to
