How long do I need to wait before consuming eggs after worming hens..??

How long do I need wait before consuming eggs after I worm my laying hens. Haven’t seen any signs of worms so this is strictly a preventative measure. I assume the eggs will be OK for my dogs to eat during the withdrawal period..??

There should be a withdraw time on the package of our dewormer. If not, hopefully someone with more experience will come along to answer better...

It's an oral liquid dewormer but I'm not sure what brand I have. It's sitting in the barn and I'm stuck at work.

Piperazine is partially effective in removing roundworms only, and needs to be repeated in two weeks. It's also no longer approved for laying hens in the USA, so officially there's a permanent egg withdrawal period.
The label says three days egg withdrawal, so go with that. If you aren't in the USA, that's the plan to follow.
'Preventative' worming doesn't work. If they have worms, either seen or by fecal testing, then it makes sense to treat them. Otherwise, it's a wasted effort.
