Yes, I will check her in the morning and see how she is. She is happily roosting with the others now. ( 9 other hens and a rooster) no one is pecking at her or anything.
Hello, Has anyone seen this before? I noticed my 8 mo. old White leghorn had a stain on her neck and I investigated. this is what I found under her feathers. It is under the skin. Do i need to cull her. she otherwise is acting normal. (this is on the back of her neck/between the shoulders)

Poor duckies..lol they are probably wondering what happend. Do they have totally separate runs/living area? Question, do you do different type of housing for ducks? Or a coop like chickens?
Thanks, yes I believe you are right. I will only use the lamp if it gets really cold. And I will lock them in at night just to be safe. My biggest concern was one of my big ones flipping on them over night and getting them cornered. But so far the behavior has been pretty civil. :) Enough...
