    I live in TN once they go out to the coop if there is any really cold weather after that I'd bring them back inside until it warms back up. How are chickens with stairs? That's what I have going up to the second story.

    Yep! It attaches to the lid which i had off to take the pics. I have a red bulb in it... I read the red was better because it reduces pecking.
