Thanks for all the welcomes and great advice! Good news! When we got home from dinner tonight, one of the hens returned from wherever she was hiding. I got three day old chicks in late August and they just started laying this week. i got home from work today and one of them was hiding on my back porch. I walked into the garden and I found two big piles of feathers and no carcasses. Will the lone survivor be ok by herself until I get more 16...- damnfox
