    I've had to fence my 3 veggie gardens off ,but with flowers I seem to have luck once they are PAST the seedling stage they are safe ( for the most part 😅) Of course constant "get get get " & a chase when small they learn the words and the chase part isn't necessary when they mature 🤣

    Only issue I have is I do deep litter method & use the coop clean out to add to compost pile & use for the garden . Excessive amounts of coffee grounds are not good for plants 😩

    We also got a TS Roo "pullet" haha happens a lot . Another alternative is to give him away to someone that doesn't have an issue culling them . Some people post on FB Roos and others collect them up as fast as they are posted !

    Another great idea that "hides" the look of the coop is to roll black paint on the hardware cloth ,makes it disappear....painted all the wood black as well ,really made a difference !!

    My biggest mistake was buying two chicks from tractor supply to keep one chick that I inherited company and they all were supposed to be pullets.
