This is my first experience raising silkies. I know they are typically hard to sex but I'm getting pretty close( around 3 months)
Anyways the usual question is it a cockerel or pullet. I say baby roo. "He" is the biggest of the 3 and pecks the most
I would normally agree however but this point the wattles usually show up and still nothing nor any other behavior that would make me think baby roo. Every time I say roo. I change my mind😵💫

Again without anything to go on OEGB seems like a good bet especially since it TSC and they provide more common breeds. Most of my girls are bantams because of the very reason you mentioned. I wish you luck but I would say start planning a new coop 😂.
That was my last thought -Crevecoeur. She doe have splash of white of her tail feathers but no real beard like Houdans are supposed to have. She does look most like the photos of the Crevecoeur
I got her in a mixed bantam bin last year so I don't what she is. I initially noticed her poof and then began trying to figure out her breed. She has a v comb and 5 toes.I landed on sultan but realized she doesn't have feathered feet. So now I just assume she is some kind of mix. Any ideas?
