    My first egg ever!!!

    This morning I found my first egg on the floor of the coop. I have 25 pullets so I'm not sure who did it but I suspect one of the barred rocks or black australorps. I'm so excited. Can't wait to see if there are more tomorrow. here it is next to a large grocery store egg.

    How many support posts for raised 8x10 coop?

    I'm working on the plans for an 8x10 coop to be raised 2 feet off the ground. Besides the 4 corners, how many additional support posts underneath do you think I'll need and is there anything else I should do for good support? I am planning to use 4x4 posts on concrete base. Thanks!
