    Loner or lonely?

    I have 5 assorted bantam cohins and 2 leghorns (all 8 weeks old), but the black frizzle is the slowest of all to mature. This "ugly duckling" is, of course, also at bottom of the pecking order. Two days ago, I rearranged the brooder coop, so now they can "go up stairs" at night. 6 of them...

    Will these webbed toes be ok?

    This is my first time rasing chicks - I noticed one of my bantam cochins, now 2 days old, has some webbing between two toes, is she (I hope) going to be ok that way? They seem pretty frimly connected. How often does this happen? Will Twinkletoes be handicapped in some way? Twinkletoes stands...
