    Anyone wanting fertile mallard eggs in Central Arkansas?

    I can part with a few over the next day or so. Let me know. I am having success with the ones already collected and in the incubator. The 7 (out of 22) that are at the 4+ days all have development (I won't know for a day or so about the other 15). Anyway it seems I have plenty to keep me busy...

    Too many eggs! I'm going to lose my mind!

    I have 4 mallard hens and I am getting 3 eggs in the same nest every morning. The past 2 days I have found one in and by the swimming pool as well. They started laying over a month ago where ever they were at in the yard so I put them up in the coop and only let them out after there are new eggs...

    Just when I thought I had done everything wrong......

    I started this incubation with the plan of only trying to save one little stray egg I found in the yard and my mallard hens wouldn't have anything to do with. So I built a home made incubator thinking if it doesn't work at least I gave it a shot. I am sad to report that egg#1 did not make it...
