Well I was considering getting an order of DP chickens not to long from now (Straight Run), and was just wondering... A) The earliest I could butcher say a Buff Orp. B) Would I have to deal with my roosters fighting before they got old enough to butcher...- man-alive

New Quail Cage
Just went and bought the materials to build a quail enclosure... can't start till tomorrow though. So I'm just watching the time go by -
Fertile Eggs
Bout to buy some cortunix quails soon. They will be adults I think (just the way they sell em where I will buy em). Just wondering about when to expext the eggs to be fertile. I wouldn't expect the hen to lay a fertile egg the very next day after putting her in the enclosure with a male. Just... -
