I have 3 brand new baby chicks born on Thursday! They are a silkie mix, the mom in the pic sat on 5 fert eggs. I gave a silkie rooster to a friend and she in turn gave me some fert eggs from him and her hens! I'm a momma again :) Check out the babies!

I thought I had a hen,, I named "her" Lily. Well, Lily has been crowing (which I hear hens sometimes do) and has just grown bigger than my older hens. Now I'm scratching my head thinking...maybe she's not Lily but Lucky?
