4 week old pullet with bare back / no feathers looking for answers.
I have 16 pullets that almost 4 weeks old. They are still in my garage in a large box until they get big enough to go out with the 5 big hens in the run. One of my barred rocks i noticed has no feathers on her back anymore. she appears to be the only one of the 16. Any ideas what is causing...- moose

lost a chicken to unknown predator, any ideas???
I lost one of my golden comets the other day to an unknown predator. She was found in the coop in a nest box (about 4 feet off the ground) dead. Her head and neck appeared wet or slobbery, but otherwise she was intact. The other 3 hens were untouched and fine. The only thing I can come up with...- moose
