Never butchered before and would rather have some hands on guidance the first time I try. Since I Don't know anyone to help me out, I need to take 4 birds to the butcher and soon.
Every once and a while I'll use a regular baby wipe to clean my eggs off with. I think most people frown on doing this d/t the possibility of chemicals from the wipes migrating through the poors of the shell but I'm doubtful this happens to a large extent. I could be wrong. What do you think?

I've read that cedar is toxic for chickens, but most of what I've read has to do with cedar shavings. would it be alright to use cedar wall studs as long as the coop is well ventilated? Thanks.
