I keep my coop open during the day for my girls to lay.
Today we saw a crow carrying an egg away, I gather it punctured the egg and then picked it up. I am frustrated and we have around 5 or 6 of them.
What should I do?
It was a bit oblonged in shape, yet she did it. I am surprised at 18 weeks. I wonder if this laying was influenced by two more senior birds ( 7 months old) have been laying. Is it possible that they are laying early due to seeing all of this?

A man in my area gave me some birds. I am unsure on a few of them.
If anyone knows what they are I would appreciate it.
All I know is these birds are six months old and none of them are laying. I have added layer mash to their diet. I am disappointed that I am not getting any eggs.
