So I have a flock of 7 chickens. I have two buff orps, (hen and roo) two d'uccle bantams, (hen and roo) and three americanas. All my chickens are 1 year and 4 months old, yet the roos stopped mating and all the hens except the americanas stopped laying, with the americanas laying every other...

I recently got three new chickens; a D'Uccle bantam hen and rooster, and a Salmon Faverolle hen. They get bossed around by the old flock members. How can I fix this?
A few weeks ago I was watching my chickens, and my mom called me inside. She wanted me to take out the compost. When I came back after a few minutes, carrying the compost pail, I saw two pitbull dogs chasing my chickens. My chickens escaped death by hiding in the woods, while I chased the dogs...
My buff orpington rooster is very mean to my 7 year old brother, and he won't even go outside when the rooster is out. Does anyone know how to make a rooster nicer?

Our barred rock has been showing signs of illness which are:
1. She can't balance herself
2. She keeps on kicking out her legs
3. She is making painful noises
4. She is constantly sitting down
Any feedback would be great.
Thanks
When our chickens were 2 months old, I was in the chicken yard, watching the chickens. I noticed that our barred rock had something in her beak, and the other chickens were chasing her. When I got a closer look, I saw it was a frog! I had its back ripped open, and the eyes were bulging out...
One of our buff orpington hens turned out to be a rooster. We have heard that it's okay to eat a fresh fertilized egg, but an egg that has been sitting a while is no different than eating a chick, and is inedible. How long do you have until it develops enough to be inedible?
Our buff Orpington hen has an eye infection, which she has had since she was 1 week old. She has foam coming out of her eye, and she is now 3 months old. It started getting better a week ago, though.
