    People think we're weird.....huh?

    All the time I get people saying WHY??? when I mention we raise our own meat and eggs. It cracks me up. If the uninformed masses would do a little rug-lifting and discover where and how their store-bought eggs and meat came from they might think about getting a couple of their own chickens...

    Ordered my first ever turkeys yesterday! Chicken pro...turkey novice

    Solid, time-tested advice appreciated! I'm getting 7 assorted heritage and 8 bbw's. Meat for now, meat for later - you know. We've raised chickens for a while for both meat and eggs.
