    3rd try worked!

    Lay down for hatching?

    I have a homemade incubator with a homemade turner. Holds eggs small end down. Is it easier for the chicks to get out laying sideways? I made a tray that sets over the turner (it turns off) to do this if it is best. I assume I would do this on day 17 or 18.
