    I bought two little silkies, one partridge and one white. I am wondering if my partridge one is a silkie, as he doesn't have the fluffy feet. Also, are they boys or girls? I will try to get close ups tomorrow morning. They are 19 weeks old. You can't quite see them good right now.

    My hens are past the age they are supposed to lay

    My Lavender Orpington's are past the age they are supposed to start laying. My rooster is crowing already, and my rooster is the same age as the hens. What is wrong? Is there anything I can do to encourage them to lay eggs, or is it still early? They are 21 weeks old.
