    I'm so disappointed. I discovered my Easter Egger on the best this morning (24 weeks old).     Do my chickens sleep?

    I know this sounds crazy, but anytime I've ever peeked into the coop, whether it's 9pm or midnight, my hens (just 3) always crane their necks to look and are softly clucking. I thought they would be sound, still sleepers with eyes closed like when they were chicks. They are 4 months old.
