Hi I'm off soon to collect 2 8 week old female geese, a silly question maybe but how do I pick the best 2? Like picking a puppy you go for the one that doesn't run straight to you etc would this apply to geese too?
I'm on day 8 of incubating my duck eggs (Aylesbury and Campbell mix) I can only see air sacks and orange yolk attached to one side of each egg, I have a feeling they may be infertile as I've seen eggs as far on as mine veining and showing eyes beating hearts etc, I really don't want to toss them...
I bought 6 "fertilised" eggs online and set them last week, I have no signs of dead eggs but not much signs of life either, I candled them tonight exited about seeing progress but I just saw large yellow, orangey yolk at one side of each egg, should I wait a while longer or do you think they are...
